Welder/Fabricator Responsibilities
The successful applicant will complete welding, fabrication, repair, and maintenance work across the company’s trailer fleet.
Key duties include MIG welding, oxy cutting, angle grinding, cutting, guillotine and folder operation, along with general workshop tasks.
The role also involves servicing and wiring trailers, applying decals, maintaining service records, detailing fleet vehicles, and completing minor repairs such as replacing bearings, brakes, and lights.
Applicants should also be comfortable reading and interpreting CAD drawings and following workplace health and safety procedures.
Skills and Experience
HenCo Group is looking for a self-motivated and hardworking tradesperson who takes pride in quality work and works well both independently and with a team.
Experience with trailers, caravans, automotive equipment, or heavy machinery is highly regarded. Knowledge of trailer wiring, wheel bearings, mechanical braking systems, and hydraulic braking systems is also beneficial.
Strong mechanical aptitude, problem-solving ability, attention to detail, and practical trade experience are preferred.
