Key Responsibilities
The Production Labourer will support daily food processing and packaging operations. Duties include:
- Handling food products and following food safety procedures.
- Moving raw materials, finished products, and packaging supplies.
- Measuring ingredients and adding them to mixing and grinding machines.
- Packing products manually into bags, boxes, and other containers.
- Checking products and packaging for basic quality defects.
- Cleaning machines and nearby work areas.
- Following workplace safety and hygiene requirements.
Job Requirements
Applicants should meet the following requirements:
- No degree, certificate, or diploma is required.
- No previous work experience is necessary, as training will be provided.
- Basic English language skills are required.
- Ability to work in a cold or refrigerated environment.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks.
- Good manual dexterity and attention to detail.
- Ability to lift and handle items weighing up to 23 kg (50 lbs).
- Willingness to work in a fast-paced food processing facility.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
