In this strategic role, you will define, drive, and evolve the overarching validation strategy, governance, and automation frameworks across embedded systems, cloud platforms, APIs, and mobile applications. Rather than focusing on day-to-day test execution, you will act as a technical leader, empowering and coaching Validation and Test Automation Engineers to achieve excellence.

What You Will Be Doing
- Strategic Leadership: Own and continuously evolve the validation strategy, risk-based testing approaches, governance models, and quality KPIs across the product lifecycle.
- Team Enablement & Coaching: Guide and mentor Validation and Test Automation Engineers by establishing clear technical frameworks, methodologies, and priorities.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner closely with Product Managers, System Architects, and Software Teams to integrate validation early into system designs and product roadmaps.
- Automation & Infrastructure Scaling: Drive the adoption of automated validation frameworks, HIL/SIL environments, CI/CD validation pipelines, and system-level test infrastructure.
- Governance & Quality Assurance: Establish scalable quality gates, manage stakeholder alignment with external partners and suppliers, and track validation effectiveness through robust metrics and dashboards.
What We Are Looking For
- Education & Experience: An MSc or BSc degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Software Engineering, or a related technical discipline, coupled with 6–10 years of experience in system validation, software testing, or quality engineering within embedded, automotive, IoT, cloud, or connected environments.
- Technical Mastery: Strong background in automated validation systems, test automation frameworks, CI/CD pipelines, HIL/SIL environments, and distributed systems.
- Leadership & Strategy: Proven ability to define long-term validation strategies, lead cross-functional teams, and influence stakeholders without direct operational ownership.
- Industry Standards: ISTQB certification (preferably in Test Management and/or Test Architecture) and familiarity with automotive, industrial automation, telematics, or connected services domains is highly preferred.
- Core Competencies: Excellent strategic, analytical, communication, and conflict-resolution skills with full professional proficiency in English.
