Welder Responsibilities
The successful candidates will perform welding work involving metal parts and products. Key duties include interpreting welding process specifications, reading blueprints and technical drawings, and operating manual, semi-automatic, and fully automated welding equipment.
Workers will inspect completed welds to ensure they meet required standards and specifications. The position also involves operating pre-set welding machines to fabricate or repair metal components.
Employees will maintain welding, brazing, and soldering equipment and perform minor repairs when required.
Requirements
Applicants must have a secondary school graduation certificate and between 1 and less than 2 years of welding experience.
Strong attention to welding specifications and the ability to interpret technical documentation are important for this role. Candidates should also be comfortable working with different welding equipment and completing quality inspections.
Work Schedule
The position offers 35 to 40 hours per week. Available shifts include early morning, morning, daytime, and evening schedules.
The work must be completed at the company’s physical location in Delta, BC. Remote work is not available.
